Funeral services for Mr. Bailey will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, January 26, 2013 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary 4071 Macon Road Columbus, with Reverend Chip Grantham officiating. Interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery.
Visitation for Mr. Bailey will be held from 6-8 pm, on Friday, January 25, 2013 at the funeral home.
Larry Joseph Bailey was born October 11, 1948 to the late L.J. Bailey and Celia Francis Shaddix Bailey. Mr. Bailey was a member of Upatoi United Methodist Church, and served as Director at Georgia Quick Start.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Bailey, son, Larry J. Bailey, Jr., “Tad ”and his wife Adrienne, and two grandchildren, Hunter and Larkin Bailey.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Upatoi United Methodist Church 13730 Macon Road Upatoi, GA 31829, or to Columbus Hospice 7020 Moon Road Columbus, GA 31909 in memory of Larry Joseph “Joe” Bailey.
