Letecia "Letty" Pom Tobias

Letecia "Letty" Pom Tobias, cherished and kind-hearted, passed away on December 19, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on March 24, 1945, in Bani, Pangasinan, Philippines, Letty was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

She was a devoted wife to Regino Cuartelon Tobias for 61 years. Letty was also a devoted and loving mom to her six children: Robert Tobias (Rosalina), Margie Tobias Chavez, Semy Tobias (Charlyn), Regino "Jhun" Tobias, Jr., Noralyn "Lyn" Tobias Castaneda, and Mary Ann Tobias Aquino (Roxwell). She moved to the United States with her husband in 1992.

Letty loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. She also loved her garden and her flowers. Her gentle and thoughtful nature was evident in her devotion to her Catholic faith, attending St. Anne Catholic Church in Columbus, Georgia.

Letty was the matriarch of her family, always smiling and happy to see her family. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her dearly. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, including Rosal Sevilla, Ernie Tobias, Riza Tobias, Robert Tobias, Jr., Chester Tobias, Letecia Martin, Christina Chavez, Myca Sanchez, Michael Tobias, Reafael Tobias, Letty Degano, Regine Selby, JanAllaiza Degano, Issa Tobias, CJ Aquino, and great-grandchildren, including Keisha Tobias, Tecia Maria Sevilla, Mark Regino Sevilla, Kate Tobias, Aizen Regaspi, Angielyn Tobias, Princess Tobias, Sophia Selby, Naomi Selby, Gabriella Sanchez, and Ava Jane Degano.

She is also survived by her sisters Prencesita Pom, Pacita Palo, Shirley Sanchez, Liberty Pom, brother Maxi Pom, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends who cherish her loving memory. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosario Nepomuceno Pom and Teofelo Pom, her sister Lolita Ambrosio, brothers Eddie Pom and Jimmy Pom.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on December 28, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary - Columbus, located at 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia. A Rosary will also be held at the same venue in the Fisher Chapel at 6:30 pm. The Funeral Mass will be conducted at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2000 Kay Circle, Columbus, Georgia, on December 29, 2025, at 11:00 am.

Letty's devotion to her family and her faith, her hard-working spirit, and her beloved presence will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
