Margaret Daniel Sanders

Margaret Daniel Sanders, age 77, passed away on May 20, 2011. Funeral services will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 1:00 PM EST. Burial will be in Parkhill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM EST.

Mrs. Sanders was born on March 29, 1934. She lived in Phenix City, AL for most of her life where she retired from Fieldcrest Mills in Columbus, GA. Mrs. Sanders had lived in Anniston, AL for the past nine years where she worked as an administrative assistant at Quintard Self Storage. She was a woman of faith, who loved her family. Mrs. Sanders was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Sanders; a daughter, Janice Sanders and a son Mark Sanders; three brothers, Lucious Daniel, Leeron Daniel and Lloyd Daniel and two grandchildren, Brice and Brian Ciccimarro.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Norman Ciccimarro of Anniston, AL; two grandchildren and their spouses, Chris and Kerri Ciccimarro and Brandon Sanders and Samantha Rodriguez; three great-grandchildren, Elana Rodriguez, McKenzie Sanders and Bella Eaton; a sister, Ruby Thompson and a brother, James Daniels.
