Margie Juanita "Joann" Tucker

Margie Juanita “Joann” Tucker, 75, of Columbus, GA, passed away April 4, 2016 in Atlanta Medical Center, Atlanta, GA. She was born March 23, 1941 in Marion County, GA to her late parents Jewel and Joseph Brown.

A Graveside Celebration of Joann’s Life will be Saturday, April 9, 2016 11:00 am at Parkhill Cemetery, 6141 Macon Road, Columbus, GA, with Reverend Danny Courtney officiating.

Along with her parents, Joann is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Jerome Tucker and her sister Hilda Faye Alexander. She is survived by her sister, Joyce Brooks of Dacula, GA; three daughters, Lisa Cotton of Panama City Beach, FL, Monica (David) Hyde of Mansfield, GA and Jeri Malloy of Smiths Station, AL; six grandchildren, Tamara Davis, Natasha Shaw, Vanessa (Josh) Hannah, Blade Commander, Alexis Malloy and RJ Doche; six great grandchildren, Kayla Davis, Charlee Shaw, Sawyer Leatherwood, Hailey Hannah, Reid Hannah and Slade Commander; nieces, nephews other family members; her long time love and companion, Steve Hunt of Columbus, GA and their canine companion Brown Boy. The family would like to give a special thank you, to Dr. Hall and Dr. Clarady of Northside Animal Hospital, for their ongoing loyalty and dedication to her love of animals.
