Marion Russell "Russ" McCoy, Jr. 46, of Columbus, GA, passed away at his home Thursday, October 30, 2014. Russ was born October 15, 1968 at Fort Benning to Marion and Eva-Maria McCoy. He worked as a Correction Officer for over 20 years then transferred to the City of Columbus where he was a Heavy Equipment Operator.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be Saturday, November 8, 2014 11:00 am in The Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby 4071 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA with Rev. Hank Reeves officiating.
Mr. McCoy is survived by his parents, and two brothers, Mitchell (Ashley) McCoy of Columbus, GA, and Michael (Julie) McCoy also of Columbus, GA.
