Martha Allen Fannin, age 96 of Elberton, GA passed away on May 10, 2011. Graveside services will be held at Parkhill Cemetery on Friday, May 13, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Father Frank Patterson officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
Mrs. Fannin was born on September 14, 1914 to the late Walter Allen and Kathrine Pittman Allen in Columbus, GA. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Mrs. Fannin was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Fannin and a son, Sonny Fannin.
Survivors include a son, Phillip Fannin of Elberton, GA; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
