A chapel service will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 with Reverend David Morris officiating. Interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Davis was born February 9, 1928 in Coffee County, AL, daughter of the late Charlie and Mattie Andrews McLean. She was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Larue Davis; three sisters, Velma Crumpler, Hilda Parrott, and Myra Nell Cotel.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Ann Weathers of Columbus, GA; two sons, Jerry Ray Davis and his wife, Barbara Ann of Columbus, GA, and Bill Davis and his wife, Karen of Ft.
