Mary Dionne

Mary graduated from Hardaway High School in 1972. She dedicated 30 years of her life as a Paraprofessional for the Muscogee County school system, where she touched the lives of many students and colleagues.

Mary is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Monfort, her niece, Abby Dionne, and her sister-in-law, Rosella Daugherty. She is survived by her loving husband, Roy Dionne; her father, Bobby Monfort; her sons, Randy Powell, Jeremy Dionne, Zachary Dionne, and Kenneth Mathis; her sister, Pam Munfort Dodd; her grandsons, Landen Long, Emmett Dionne, Wyatt Dionne, Brendon Dionne, and Justin Powell; her granddaughters, Lyla Dionne, Haley Drew, and Chole Powell; her brother-in-law, Billy Dodd; her daughters-in-law, Brittany Long and Lynda Dionne; her nephew, Jimmy Daugherty; and her niece, Adrian Daugherty.

Mary had a passion for Disney characters, movies, unicorns, and "The Wizard of Oz." Above all, she cherished spending quality time with her friends and family.

A visitation will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary in the St. Elmo Room, located at 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA, 31907, on December 29, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Mary Dionne will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
