Mary Alice Paddock

Funeral service will be at Striffler-Hamby in the Edgewood Hall on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 3:00 PM with the Reverend John Burnett officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until time of the service. Private family graveside service in Parkhill Cemetery.

Mrs. Paddock was born July 25, 1929, daughter of the late William C. and R. Letha Cullifer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Paddock, her son Robert C. Wieczorek, and two granddaughters Jennifer Leigh Wieczorek and Laura Rae Eager. Mrs. Paddock was a member of Hilton Terrace Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Agape Sunday School Class, past member of the Pilot Club of Columbus where she served on numerous committees and was president four times. She was also a member of the “Joy of Red” Red Hat Society.

Survivors include her sons, Lawrence W. and (Beth) Wieczorek of Jackson Gap, Alabama, Gerald W. and (Sue) Wieczorek, Paul L. and (Carol) Wieczorek, and James D. and (Robin) Wieczorek, and her daughter, Regina A. Wieczorek of Lumpkin, Georgia; sixteen grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
