He was my very best friend for the last 16 years. Too many good memories to where I can't think of 1 bad one. He was always there for me as I was for him in our friendship over the years. Always genuine and never putting himself before anyone else. From pro wrestling, to heavy metal and even something as silly as Natty Daddy beer, we had SO MUCH in common, clicked on nearly every level (he liked gangster rap). Truly a gem and will be missed dearly every day.

Matt was one of the kindest, loyal amazing souls. I’ll always remember when we realized we were “at” the same wrestling show a long long time ago. 

I took my brother to what I thought was a live WWE match. Turns out it was just live on giant screens in NYC because the show was actually happening in GA! This just happened to be the same show Matt was at (his FIRST show ever) with his mom! 

I’ll also never forget talking to him on the phone about our Diabetes. He told me it made him feel like someone understood him and our unique medical language. We used to check our sugar levels together and it connected us through the miles between us. He was the first one I called if my numbers were off and vise versa.  I miss him so much. 💙

Rest easy now, love. You’ve waited so long to hug your mom again. I hope it was everything you imagined. 
My deepest and heartfelt condolences to your incredible family and friends. Your soul was magic and your smile could light up a room. I’m so grateful to have been someone you loved and to have been a part of your story. Until we meet again. I love and miss you so much 💙

I remember all those times we drove in the car together to dance.  And when he had his scooter and would ride it around outside the studio.  And how your mom would say his name when he was being mischievous.  He was a good soul.  I recently heard a saying about someone close to us passing “they may have left us, but haven’t left them.”  Xoxoxoxo
