Michael Otis Cason, age 55, resident of Columbus, died on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Midtown Medical Center.
Funeral services are scheduled in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, Columbus, on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 11:00am with Reverend David Howle officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00am. Mr. Cason, son of Nell Cason and the late Charlie Otis Cason, was born May 22, 1959 in Columbus, Georgia. He worked in the Columbus area as an Electrician for many years. Mr. Cason was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church in Columbus.
He is preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Samuel Watford, Maude Watford, Foy Cason and Cora Daniel Cason. Mr. Cason is survived by his wife of 24 years of marriage, Rita Cason; mother, Nell Cason; brothers, Bobby Cason (Kim), Phillip Cason (Kim); four nephews, Chandler Cason, Gavin Cason, Ben Cason, Matthew Cason; numerous aunts, uncles, friends, and other relatives.
