A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 26, 2022 at St. Luke United Methodist Church with Reverend Cynthia Garrard officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service. A private family burial will take place in Parkhill Cemetery.
Mike was born in Lexington, MO. on July 8, 1965 to the late John McAlister and Linda Tesako McAlister. Mike graduated from Baker High School in 1983 and furthered his education with a degree from Auburn University. He enjoyed a fulfilling career as a Real Estate Agent that allowed him to provide and care for his family. Mike was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.
Mike is survived by his wife, Robin McAlister his children, Joshua A. McAlister and Hannah P. McAlister, siblings, Charlie McAlister (Sue) and Teresa Peardon (Marvin) also cherishing his memory is his wife’s family, mother-in-law, Pat Allen, sister and brother-in-law, Kit Ray (Butch), niece, Courtney Jones (Greg), and a nephew, Brandon Ray, numerous nieces and nephews and one great niece.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the JBACC for the study and treatment of Colorectal Cancer, the American Cancer Society or to Columbus Hospice.
