Mickey Jerome Miller

Mickey Jerome Miller, 64, of Smiths Station, AL died at Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital in Phenix City, AL Friday, February 19, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA. Burial will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. this evening, Monday, February 22, 2010 at the funeral home.

Mr. Miller was born April 13, 1945 in Columbus, GA son of the late Lewis Jefferson Miller and Vera Mae Parker Miller. He had retired from Omi as a Warehouse Manager after several years of dedicated service. Mr. Miller continued to be active after retiring, by working part-time delivering flowers and holding other odd jobs. He will be remembered as a simple man who enjoyed his friends and loved his family.

Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his wives, Linda Todd Miller and Thelma Louise Parker Miller. Survivors include his four children, Tony Miller of Pittsview, AL, Richie Miller, Scotty Miller (Tammy) and Tracy Manley (Bo) all of Columbus, GA; three siblings, Howard Miller, Yvonne Herring and Faye Faulkner; five grandchildren, Chase Manley, Blade Manley, Dalton Miller, Scotty Miller and Kayle Rae Miller; one great-grandson, Emerson Graham; beloved pet, Millie; nieces, nephews and friends.
