On behalf of Tio Genaro and all of here, we share our sense of loss with all of you and so many here.  We always knew Monika to be loving, caring, and uplifting to all around her.   Memories of  her will live forever within our hearts.  Life is a precious gift, and she sure did know how to appreciate it,  even in the small things. Will never forget her and her loving ways. Blessings to each of you, and may Gods love & light surround you always.

Time is precious...so glad we got to spend time together while you were in Texas for Francis & Boone's wedding. As always, we enjoyed visiting with you. We will always remember you. Rest in Peace Monika.

I won't be at Services for Monika today, so I want to say a few words to her family and friends.
As a friend, and coworker at West Central Hospital, I grew to know, love, and appreciate Monika. She was "the face of West Central" to every new employee during her years in Staff Development and Training. She would take each new employee class and "mother hen" (very complimentary term), providing support, insights, and guidance as they needed. In later years, moving into a client care area, she imparted this same love and care to the clients. Hers was a selfless caring and concern, for staff and clients alike.
 Monika's beautiful smile, and infectious laugh, brought joy to all she touched. Surely, all who knew Monika were blessed by her, and she will be sorely missed.
So long, Monika...until we meet again!!

My deepest sympathy and prayers to the family of Monika.  May God comfort and strengthen you during this time and the days ahead.  Monika's smile and kindness will be missed.  It was a pleasure working with her at West Central.

My sister-in-law was the best!  I will always remember all the great memories we made in the last forty six years!  She was someone I could count on to help me at any moment.  I will never forget how she helped take care of our mom in those eighteen months before our mom passed.  She was so good to my girls and me and we’ll always treasure her in our hearts.   May she rest in peace until we meet again!

My world seems a bit lost now.  Aunt Monika was such an important part of my life… aunt, friend, confidant, travel buddy.  We always had fun and made memories no matter what we were doing.  I will miss her beautiful smile and bright shining eyes, but I am thankful she is no longer in pain. Until we are reunited again, I will hold our memories close to my heart.

Monica had a smile bright as a shining star. She was kind hearted. She loved and had a passion for decorating. When doing events she took charge giving it her all, making sure everything was in order and dressed right dress. Monica touch so many people lives and she will truly be missed.🕊️

I have so many precious memories of my Aunt Monika, especially from my childhood. She made the best desserts, told the most dramatic stories, and created the neatest crafts. She was always happy with the sweetest, most contagious smile. I will miss her and send all my love to my Uncle Hector, my precious cousins, and her sweet grandkids.

I want to say I will really miss the talks that we would have when we came over to see you guys. You have always had a funny way of seeing things  and I will miss that. People like you are the reason that helped us decide to make Columbus our home. You really never met a stranger.

Such a sweet, loving person. And that smile of hers would always brighten any room.  So many fond and fun memories with Monika.  We had a blast laughing and  chatting at West Central. Monika will be missed by many people. She had a beautiful smile and loving personality. I loved her laughs and enjoyed all our special moments. She will forever be in my heart.

Monika and I  used to run around  together  at KHS. She was laid back as was I.  When we met  up again  at our 50th class reunion  what a awesome time  we had reminiscing  about teachers we had and  all the antics we did.  She was so easy to love and  be around.  Ohhhh  how she will be missed.  Fly high Monika  in GODS arms. No more cancer or chemo.  😇😇🥰😇

I haven’t seen Monika since we were young but always considered her a close cousin. We had a fun summer together as teenagers, especially the day she caught a shark in the gulf!  I was hoping to reconnect this year at the reunion but sadly that did not happen. Love and prayers for her family and friends.

Monika was an inspiration. She battled up until the end always keeping a positive attitude on her updates.  It was great to see her at our KHS 50 year reunion and her big smile was very hard to miss.
She really made me feel good by telling me she had hoped that I would be there.
Rest in Peace Monika.  You fought a valiant fight.

My greatest memory of Monika is even in her weakness she was still strong.  She loved her family with every breath in her. Much love and prayers to this beautiful family.
