Mrs. Rehburg was a faithful Christian woman who retired from West Point-Pepperell after many years of service. She was a witty, strong-willed woman who loved her family dearly. As a devoted wife, she stood by her husband of nearly 40 years through his illness and death. Together, they raised their children and helped care for their grandchildren. Family members recall her incredible strength as she recovered from a major stroke and faced other health challenges with patience and grace. Her daughters remember her love of cooking, especially her famous biscuits and cornbread. Her grandchildren cherish memories of slumber parties at "Grannie’s house" and many summer beach trips. Taking care of others brought her immense joy.
Mrs. Rehburg touched many lives and leaves behind a legacy of love and loyalty. In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as numerous friends and neighbors who loved her dearly.
Funeral services for Mrs. Rehburg will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 10th. The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service.
