
Predeceased by her parents; Miles Loy Henslee and Annielee Harris Henslee; her sister, Claire Henslee Camp; and nephew, Van Henslee. Nancy is survived by her best friend and brother, Miles Loy (Sonny) Henslee, Jr. of Columbus; her sister, Zan Henslee Gammage of Cedartown, Georgia; and brother-in-law, Wilson Camp of Columbus, Georgia. Nancy is also survived by her nephews, Miles Gammage (Laura) of Cedartown, Huck Camp (Lori) of Fortson, Georgia, and Lee Camp (Donna) of Hamilton, Georgia; nieces, Karen Harvey (Sam) of Louisville, Kentucky, Rebecca Jolley (Lex) of Atlanta, Georgia, Claire Shipes (Keith) of Destin, Florida, Beth Holman (Jimmy) of Columbus, Georgia, and Anne Lee Kitchens (Steve) of Cedartown, Georgia.
While Nancy was born with an array of physical and intellectual challenges, she was a woman of humor, compassion, and perseverance. She was known for her love of family and friends, her “one liners”, beautiful dolls, banana sandwiches, Parcheesi, “I Love Lucy” reruns, riding her three wheeled big bike and floating for hours in a big black inner tube in Pensacola Bay.
