Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday , March 21, 2011 at The First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Charles Hasty, Jr. and Rev.Keith Cowart officiating. Burial will be in Parkhill Cemetery according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus. .
Mrs. McKenzie was born November 13, 1973 in Pensacola, FL the daughter of Jay C. McClung of Ft.Lauderdale,Fl and Nancy Peddy McClung of Columbus . She had been a resident of Columbus since 1986 and was a commercial Lending assistant at Columbus Bank and Trust. Mrs Mc Kenzie was a member of Christ Community Church in Columbus.
Survivors , other than her parents , include her husband, Jason McKenzie of Columbus; maternal grandmother, Anna McClung of Columbus; a great aunt , Peggy O'Neal of Columbus ; aunt and uncle, Anita and Phil Tomlinson of Columbus; her mother and father in law , Beth and O.T. McKenzie of Albany,GA. .Mrs,. McKenzie was preceed in death by her grandfather , J.C. McClung and her grandmother, Kathryn Peddy. Active pallbearers will be Jermany Bridge, Bryan Hartman, Jason Gamache, Ryan Edwards, Heath Schondelmayer and Ron Daniel.
