Neil Antaran Panagsagan, age 62, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022. A rosary and visitation for Neil will be held Friday, September 2, 2022 at 5:30 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31907. Father Scott Winchell from St. Anne Catholic Church will conduct the Rosary.
Neil was born August 4, 1960, in Tangalan, Aklan, Philippines; the son of Juan Miraflores Panagsagan and Anisia Antaran. Neil earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Marine Engineering. Neil did not live a flashy life, he had simple needs and wants. Neil had been employed at T.S.Y.S., he was a member of Bayanihan of Columbus and a member of St. Anne Catholic Church. He loved singing, having videoke with his family and friends. He also enjoyed playing Mahjong and Tongits. Neil appreciated the pleasure derived from a drinking a cold beer.
He is preceded in death by: his parents; and brother-in-law, Dr. Carlos Baron.
Survivors include: three children, Johnel Panagsagan, James Bryan Panagsagan, Neilea Villanueva Panagsagan; his siblings, Nicolas Antaran Panagsagan, Elva Panagsagan Luces, Carissa Panagsagan Mauricio, Amy Panagsagan Baron, Sol Panagsagan, Molo Juanafe Antaran Panagsagan, Joel Antaran Panagsagan.
