

Pamela Ann Motycka, age 72, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Tuesday January 23, 2018. She was born February 26, 1945 in Oneonta, New York to her late parents, Oscar and Jeanne Belden. Mrs. Motycka retired from SunTrust Bank after 20 + years and was a member of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. She was an avid quilter and her quilting friends were like family to her. Pamela enjoyed traveling with them to various quilting events. She worked on quilts for Lutheran World Relief and other organizations. Pamela was a member of the Gala Quilt Guild in Columbus, Cotton Boil Guild in Auburn and South Eastern Stitchers in Georgia.
Along with her parents, Pamela was preceded in death by her devoted husband Thomas E. Motycka. She is survived by: her two sons, Michael T. Motycka, (Debora), and Brian J. Motycka, (Deb Warick); grandchildren, Jason Motycka, Zachary Motycka, Joshua Motycka, Ally Motycka, Audrey Motycka and Luke Motycka; siblings, Nancy Free, (Bob), Robert Belden, (Virginia), and Peter Belden, (Patricia); nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
A visitation and memorial service for Pamela will be held Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 2:30 PM at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 4700 Armour Rd, Columbus, Georgia 31904.
