COLUMBUS, GEORGIA- Patricia D. Reeder, 51, passed away on August 6, 2013. Celebration of life services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, August 9, 2013, at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd., Columbus with Dr. Bill Purvis officiating. Burial will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 PM

Patricia was born June 5, 1962 in Atlanta, GA to Marcus and Martha Hicks. She was a devoted Christian and a member of Cascade Hills Church. Patricia was a loving mother, whose world revolved around her children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Reeder.

Survivors include her children, Jessica Reeder and Elliot Reeder of Columbus, GA; her mother and father, Martha and Marcus Hicks; mothers-in-law, Mildred Reeder and Linda Reeder; two brothers, Mark Hicks and his wife, Brenda of Pensacola, FL and Billy Hicks and his wife, Nichole of Columbus, GA; a sister, Loraine Strickland and her husband, Mike of Pine Mountain, GA; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Maggie and Kenny Roberson and David and Ginger Cloud; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made at CB&T to the Elliot P. Reeder and Jessica G. Reeder Fund.
