Ralph Leon Wiggins was born February 19th, 1934 in Monroe County, Alabama to the late Isaac O. and Elma A. Wiggins. From proudly serving his country in the U.S. Army and Air Force, to serving his community for 31 years as a Captain on the Columbus Fire Department, to running a fishing charter in Florida out of the Econfina River, Ralph leaves an unforgettable legacy of a life well lived to those many that knew him. He will also be remembered for his dedication and love to his wife of 62 years Jean Wiggins, who has preceded him in death. Those who are left to cherish his memories are: his son, Randy Wiggins; daughter and son-in-law, Patti and Scott Mann; granddaughters Emma Mann and Ashlynn Whiting, grandson-in-law, Tate Whiting; great grandson, Ayrton Whiting; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Lester Massey and a host of nieces and nephews.
We hope you will join the family in celebrating the many memories Ralph left us with at. visitation to be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Thursday, July 21st from 6pm-8pm. Graveside services will be held Friday, July 22nd at 10:00am at Parkhill Cemetery.
