Rebecca Anthony "Becky" Morgan

Becky is survived by her loving husband, Barry Nealon Morgan of Pine Mountain, GA son, Jason Bradley “Brad” Morgan and wife Samantha and their children, J.B. Morgan, Lane Morgan and Olivia Morgan of Cataula, GA, daughter, Amy Morgan Robinson and husband Rob and their children, Will Robinson and Wesley Robinson of Southern Shores, NC, a brother, Donald Anthony of Ft. Gaines, GA, a sister, Bonnie Back of Cincinnati OH, and several nieces and nephews.

Becky Morgan was born on March 9, 1949 in Columbus, Georgia to Emmett and Odessa Anthony. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1967 and married her high school sweetheart Barry in December of that same year. She was loved and cherished by her friends and colleagues over the years at Needlework Markets in Pine Mountain, Pine Mountain Tourism Board, Callaway Gardens and TSYS. She was a member of Hamilton Baptist Church in Hamilton, Georgia for the past 37 years and loved her church family.

Becky never met a stranger and showed great love to all those she knew, but her greatest love was her family. She loved being with her family wherever she went; such as family gatherings for birthdays and holidays, as well as trips to the river, mountains and the beach. These occasions highlight her joyful years, but the beach was her favorite. Time spent with family and friends sunning, playing in the sand and jumping in the waves were some of her favorite memories. She was graciously blessed with five incredible grandchildren, who know her best as their “MiMi”.

Visitation will be held at Striffler –Hamby, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Sunday April 17th from 4-6. A funeral is scheduled for 1:00 pm on Monday April 18th at Wynnbrook Baptist Church, 500 River Knoll Way, Columbus, GA 31904. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Becky's life.
