Rebecca M. Ross, 83, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at her residence at Spring Harbor. A private graveside service will be held in Parkhill Cemetery, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd., Columbus, Georgia.
Mrs. Ross was born February 2, 1930 in Raleigh, NC to the late Elmer Sylvester McCue and Bertie Banks McCue. She was a member of Park Hill Methodist Church in Ridgeland, MS and a member of Alta Woods Methodist Church in Jackson, MS.
Survivors include her son, Jack R. Ross, MD and his wife, Alison of Columbus, GA and their sons, Will, John, and Carter; her daughter, Lynne Ross Wilson of New York City, and her daughter, Alexandra; her brother, Bob McCue of Lilburn, GA; and her sister-in-law, Nell Bevill of Jackson, MS.
Becky was an inspiration and was loved by family and friends.
