Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday August 22, 2022 in Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, Georgia with Reverend Frances Corbin officiating. Burial will follow services in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to service at 1:00 P.M. for visitation.
Robert Joe Coker was Born on May 8, 1946 in Harriman, TN. He was one of twelve children. Joe moved to Columbus where he met his loving wife, Judy C. Coker and had three children. Joe was the proud business owner of Coker Electric Company where he employed many family members and friends, passing his trade down. Joe loved his work and was very skilled in electrical, welding and many types of construction. Joe was Pentecostal and passed down a legacy of faith. Joe was a big hunter, loved to fish and grow a garden. He loved his family and often met any needs they had. He will be missed by all who knew him and especially loved him.
Survivors include his two sons Mark Coker, Tim Coker and wife Christa, four sisters; Ethel Collins, Brenda Collins, Linda Coker and Suzie Bagwell, seven wonderful grandchildren; Jacob, Jessica, Matt, Emily, Zach, Caitlin, and Austin Coker and many loved nieces and nephews.
