Your daughter is graduating high school in a few weeks.  I hope that you know what a wonderful young lady she has become.  She takes after you a lot; she is smart, funny and loves to dance, she has your feet and loves that she can get a good tan.  She holds you close to her heart and I know thinks of you often and misses you especially during times like this.  We all miss you.

    I am truly blessed to have had Robert as my brother.  Although he and I were 10 months and 10 days a part in age and I was the oldest he always acted as if I was the little sister. He was always so protective of me and I knew that he always had my back. Playing tackle Football with him and our friends in the back yard he would tell the guys “Hey, to take it easy on my sister” and they would reply “ tell your sister to take it easy on us.”   We had the same classes, same circle of friends, shared proms together, graduated together, fights together, and chewing tobacco together,bowling together. We were known as the Dancing  Brother and Sister duo during our College years. He (We) loved to dance! There were many events that he and I would just break out dancing of course he had the moves and I had the looks with a few moves.  Many people thought we were twins because we did look so much alike until I got fat and he got ugly. Sometimes it felt like I never really had my own identity because I was always known as Robert Floyd’s sister which was fine with me but I would sometimes deny it.  Telling people that I didn’t know that boy, kidding around with them to only later proudly admit that he was my brother. I could not have imagined growing up through life without my brother Robert. All the tricks he would play on me, the crazy things he would say, the punches thrown at each other, the times he got me kicked out of class because he would do something to get me to laughing uncontrollably, the Game Days at my house during SEC Foot Ball “Roll Tide”, him yelling at the TV, the risk taker, back hand flips down the halls of the school, off the bleachers, off the top of the house. The higher, the better. His energy, his jokes, his stories, his big heart and his love for life. If it had not been for Robert, my husband Mike and I would have never been married. Even though I wanted to punch him in the head for embarrassing me it was one of the best things he had done for me aside from being my brother.  I could go on forever, I know that we all could.  All of us have our own stories about him.  Robert was Robert,  Good and Bad you loved him. There was nothing he would not do for me. If I needed him he was there, he may have been late but he was always there.  I love you and will miss you deeply I never knew such pain existed but, Thank you Robert for the Love the Laughter and the Crazy, Wild, Fun Adventures of growing up with you.  I am proud to say.. That I am Robert Floyd’s Sister.

Robert will forever be remembered for his kind heart, his great personality, infectious laugh and dedication to his job and family.  God needed a special Angel in Heaven and he called Robert home.  Rest in peace my friend.  May your family take comfort in knowing that you are in Heaven.  Please God be with Robert's family during this difficult time.  Comfort them and touch them in that very special way that you only you can to help heal their pain.

Robert, you came into my life unexpectedly 18 months ago.  You brought a lot of love and joy into my life.  There will not be a day goes by I will not think about you.  I love you and your  family.  I will miss you deeply.  I love you forever and ever.

Although I did not know him as a man, I have many wonderful memories of us all bowling together and the trips we took for tournaments.He was a joy to be around and always so funny.
