Robert Tracy "Robb" Freeman

Robert Tracy “Robb” Freeman, 42, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, April 22, 2010 in Columbus, GA.

Memorial services will be 12 noon Monday, April 26, 2010 at Striffler – Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road Chapel, with Rev. James McCord officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 11:00 A.M. until service time.

Mr. Freeman was born July 20, 1967 in Orangeburg, S.C. He lived in Columbus for the past twenty five years and was a salesman with ABC Supply, where he recently received the Sales Performance Award. He was a 1985 graduate of Emma Sansom High School, Gadsden, AL, a member of Columbus Home Builders, Elks Lodge # 111, and an active member of the Grill Deal barbeque cooking team. He was preceded in death by a brother, Todd Sparks.

Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Burton Freeman; his daughter, Leighton Freeman; father, John Freeman and his wife, Cindi of Columbus; mother, Carolyn Thacker and her husband, Gerald of Gadsden, AL; three brothers, Jonathan Freeman of Columbus, Jeffery Freeman and his wife, Jennifer of Gadsden, AL, and Jason Freeman of Albany; two sisters, Tami Whitehead and her husband, Greg and Terri Smith and her husband, Steve all of Columbus; his mother and father-in-law, Keith and Sandy Burton of Ashville, AL; brother-in-law, Wes Burton and his wife, Michelle of Columbus; several nieces and nephews.
