Robert Kevin McMillan, age 50, of Columbus, GA passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025, at St. Francis hospital surrounded by family and friends by his side. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert L. McMillan Jr. Their bond was deep and enduring, and we take comfort in believing they are reunited in peace.
Kevin was born on December 11, 1974, in Columbus, GA. From an early age, he enjoyed fishing and was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan, “GO DAWGS”. Kevin had a voice that once you heard, you would never forget. Throughout his life despite his trials and tribulations he faced, he had an unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. His faith was not just a part of him, it was the foundation of who he was.
He is survived by his mother, Judith (Murdock) McMillan; his sister Robin Elaine McMillan (Michael Dorminey); his nieces, Madison Elaine Chavez, Alexis Renee Chavez and Emma Grace Dorminey. In addition to his immediate family, Kevin, leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and church family.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 11:00AM. Family will visit with friends one hour prior.
