Robert E. "Bobby" Stringfellow

Robert E. “Bobby” Stringfellow, 53, passed away on August 10, 2012. Funeral services will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd., Columbus on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 4:00 – 6:00 PM.

Mr. Stringfellow was born on March 18, 1959 in Ft. Sill, OK to the late William D. and Annie Stringfellow. Bobby loved hunting and fishing, but most of all he adored spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed. Mr. Stringfellow was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth James Stringfellow, two brothers, Billy and Pete Stringfellow and a niece, Tiffany J. Folmar.

Survivors include a daughter, Amanda Denise Stringfellow of Phenix City, AL; three grandchildren, Abbie Eve Stringfellow, Kenneth James Stringfellow and Kaitlyn Stringfellow; two sisters, Carol Carver (Lee) of Columbus, GA and Debbie Gelineau (Richard) of Columbus, GA; nieces and nephews, Neil, Christy, Terry, Carrie, David, and Cody.

The family would like to thank the staff of Fountain City Nursing Facility and Columbus Hospice for their compassionate care during this difficult time.
