Roger Allan Miller, age 66, of Box Springs, Georgia passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2024.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, Georgia 31907. Graveside services with Military Honors will occur Friday, July 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, Alabama 36856.

He was born on January 9, 1958 in Los Angeles, California to the late Kenneth and Delores Miller. Roger was a U.S. Army Veteran and was stationed at Ft. Benning, Georgia and Berlin, Germany. He served from September 10, 1981 - October 16, 1991. He fought and was wounded in "Operation Urgent Fury" in Grenada. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Candida Scott and a son, Larry Workman.

Roger is survived by his wife of 32 years, Barbara Miller; daughter, Deborah Smith; brother, Ken Miller; and two sisters, Nancy and Barbara, 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.
