Susan P. Culbreath, age 54, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Bill Mayhew officiating. Burial will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM.
Mrs. Culbreath was born on August 18, 1956 to Charles Perry and the late Doris Owen Perry in Greenville, SC. She attended Clemson University and Brevard College. Mrs. Culbreath was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was always faithful in God.
Survivors include her husband, Pete Culbreath of Columbus; a son and daughter-in-law, Will and Beth Culbreath of Chelsea, AL; a daughter and son-in-law, Katie Culbreath and Donnie Edmonds of Columbus; five grandchildren; a sister, Jennie George of Greenville, SC; a brother, Charles Perry, Jr. of Clemson, SC and her father, Charles Perry of Pendleton, SC.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the John B. Amos Cancer Center, 1831 5th Avenue, Columbus, GA 31904.
