Memorial services will be held 3:00 pm Sunday August 15, 2010 at
Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Norman Dunlap officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Brown was born September 17, 1949 in Columbus, GA to the late Ted C. Brown Sr. and Olene Howard Brown. He worked at Ft. Benning, GA and had worked for Swift Mill for 38 years. He loved deep sea fishing and NASCAR.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Brown, his daughter, Angela Chesteen, Grandson, Austin Clinton Chesteen, sister, Linda Cermak all of Columbus, GA, a nephew, Wayne Dobbs and his niece, Connie Preuth.
