Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday May 18, 2012 in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907 with private burial to follow for the family in Parkhill Cemetery. Reverend Billy Duncan will officiate. The family will receive family and friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Morgan was born September 21, 1953 in Albany, Georgia. She was an office manager with Coca Cola, and a Baptist. She loved camping, shopping and being with her family.
Survivors include her husband, E. Ferrell Morgan, a son, E. F. “Bucky” Morgan Jr., a daughter, Dee (Chris) Gouchenour, her parents, Braxton Bragg Ferguson and Louise McCullar Ferguson, her sisters, Darlene (Dan) Blacklock, Colette (Bill) Adamson, her brothers, Kevin (Beth) Ferguson, Scot (Karen) Ferguson, Brent (Lori) Ferguson, Heath (Kelly) Ferguson, her grandchildren, Jessie Carlisle and Leigh Ann (Justin “Skip”) Skipper, a great grandchild, her nephews, Jeremy Ferguson and Jerrod Ferguson, other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
