Terry Ronald Blaxton

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018 in Parkhill Cemetery according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA. Reverend Billy Duncan and Reverend David Dollar officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The following will serve as Pallbearers, Terry Blaxton, Jr., Terry Blaxton, III, Todd Patterson, Blaxton Patterson, Gary Blaxton, Philip Authement, Garrett Blaxton, Donald Qualls, Joel Milner, and Brandon Thompson.

Mr. Blaxton was born December 18, 1958 in Columbus, GA. to Mary A. Blaxton of Columbus, and the late Donald Ray Blaxton. Terry worked construction most of his life but most recently was employed by Home Depot in Phenix City, AL, and The Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia at Camp Concharty. He attended Greater Life Baptist Church.Terry enjoyed Fishing and Hunting of all types. Many friends were made and great times were had during his sporting adventures.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Qualls Blaxton of Columbus, a son, Terry Ronald Blaxton, Jr. and wife Jessica of Cataula, a daughter Lauren Blaxton Patterson and husband Todd of Columbus, a sister, Pamela Authement and husband Philip of Cataula, a brother Gary Blaxton and wife Barbara of Reidsville, GA, three precious grandchildren, Makayla Ann Blaxton, Terry Ronald Blaxton, III of Cataula and Blaxton Lee Patterson of Columbus, and many nieces and nephews.
