MSgt (Ret) Terry Melton Bryant, age 56, resident of Columbus, died on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at his residence. Memorial services with full military honors are scheduled at the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus on Friday, May 28, 2010, 5 p.m. with Reverend Dennis Lacy officiating. MSgt Bryant, son of Richard Coleman Bryant and Rosalie Young Bryant, was born October 12, 1953 in Columbus. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force, where he served his country honorably for 20 years. During his military service, he received several awards to include the Meritorious Service Medal (w/2 OLC) and the Air Force Commendation Medal (w/1OLC). MSgt Bryant is survived by two daughters, Terri Williford and her husband Jody of Phenix City, AL and Traci Rivera and her husband David of Fort Huachuca, AZ; his parents, Richard and Rosalie Bryant of Columbus; three brothers, Wayne Bryant of Pine Mountain, GA, Glenn Bryant and his wife Debbie of Columbus, and Richard Bryant and his wife Kay of Ellerslie, GA; three grandchildren, Kirsten and Katelin Williford of Phenix City, AL and Olivia Rivera of Fort Huachuca, AZ; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
