Virdeen H. Conner

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 14, 2015 in the Edgewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment to be held 10:00 Tuesday at Main Post Cemetery, Ft. Benning, GA.

Mrs. Conner was born in Hardshell, KY on November 17, 1938 to the late Pollard Hudson and Viola White Hudson. She was a lifelong resident and was retired as Director of Medical Records at Martin Army Community Hospital. Her husband Billy G. Conner preceded her in death.

Survivors include her 8 children, Billy E. Conner (Robin) of Springfield, VA, Belinda F. Knowles (Donnie) of Latimer, MS, Brenda C. Haught (Daniel) of Midland, GA, DeAnne C. Eichman (David) of Waverly Hall, GA, James David Conner (Serena) of Phenix City, AL, Wayne D. Conner (Christy) of Montgomery, AL, Deborah L. Mancil (Michael) Montgomery, AL, and Joel K. Conner (April) of Hamilton, GA, siblings, Lloyd Hudson, Shirley Noble, Temus Hudson and Joyce Weckerling, 16 grandchildren 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
