Virginia Ovelene Cochran, 90, passed away on March 2, 2026. Born April 1, 1935 in Ringgold, Georgia to the late Earl and Iduma Grant, Virginia was a resident of Columbus, Georgia.

Virginia is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, John Cochran; her son, Eric (Angie) Cochran; grandsons, Jacob and John Austin Cochran; sister, Pat Stoker; and niece, Theresa Nowlin.

A Visitation for Family and Friends will be held at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, in the St. Elmo room, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31907 on March 5, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

A Graveside Service will take place at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907 on March 5, 2026, at 3:00 PM.
