Virlon Virginia Willis, age 65, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020. A private burial for Virginia is planned for Saturday, June 6, 2020.

Virginia was born September 16, 1954 in Opp, Alabama to Vida Morris Willis and Jonathan Marvin Willis, Sr. Virginia graduated from Baker High School. She had a lot of friends who knew her as a free spirit and a caring and giving person. Virginia loved to talk with friends and and solve word find puzzles. Virginia loved watching out for others, taking care of her many cats and dogs over the years and enjoyed a good joke. Virginia will always be remembered for being a kind, caring and giving person.

Virginia’s father, Jonathan Marvin Willis, Sr.; mother, Vida Morris Willis; and stepfather, Therman Shelton; and brother, Jonathan Willis, Jr. all preceded her in death. She is survived by her brothers, Earl Willis (Monica) and Wayne Willis (Kathy); nieces; nephews; other family members and many friends.
