

Arrangements under the direction of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus, GA..Vivian Pearl Evans Brown, 88, of Buena Vista, GA passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at Magnolia Manor, surrounded by her loving family. The family will welcome guests Friday November 18, 2016 from 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm in the St. Elmo room of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA followed by a 2:00 pm Graveside Service at Parkhill Cemetery with The Reverend Raymond Smith officiating.
Vivian was born January 16, 1928 to her late parents John Reginald and Myrtice DuBose Evans in Graceville, FL. She was retired from Sunshine Biscuit Company where she was a Packer. Mrs. Brown was a Baptist by faith. When she could, she loved to be outdoors working in the garden. Her passion was her family, she loved them all and they loved her dearly.
Along with her parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her adoring husband James R. Brown, Sr.; son, Johnny Brown; brother, Franklin Durwood Evans; step son, James R. Brown, Jr.; step daughter, Betty MacKinney and grandson, Lee Scott. Those here to cherish her memory are; daughters, Donna (Buddy) Scott and Nora (Gary) Scott; sons, Henry Register and Josh (Christi) Brown; grandchildren: Dee Dee , Lance, Lyle, Lois, Jessica, Elizabeth, Sarah, Susan and April Scott. Michael, Robert, and Mark Register, Eric and Jason Scott; Great grandchildren: Bailee and Hunter Scott; Robbie, Jacob, Gracie and Kylie Register; Dreyson, Trevor and Nathan Scott; Lawson and Shae Scott, Ellie and Levi Scott; Tori, Justin and Jeffrey Campbell; Lois, Logan and Sam Cain; great-great grandchild, Amunette Campbell; nephews, a niece, other family members and many friends
