Wynema "Pat" Knight

Wynema Pat Knight January 13, 1935 - August 18, 2010 COLUMBUS, GA— Wynema Pat Knight, age 75, resident of Columbus, died on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus on Saturday, August 21, 2010, 11:30 a.m. with Reverend Charles Jones officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 20, 2010 from 5-7 p.m. Interment will follow at Main Post Cemetery, Fort Benning, GA. Mrs. Knight, daughter of the late Steven DeKald Patterson and Ollie Mae Bolton, was born January 13, 1935. She was a homemaker, member of Central Christian Church, and enjoyed playing bingo. Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Knight. She is survived by two daughters, Patty Brown of Columbus and Kay Arnold and her husband Phil of Evans, GA; two sons, Bobby Knight and his wife Sun of Evans, GA and Stanley Knight of Columbus; four sisters, Mary Edwards and Chichi McHann of MS, Ollie Thompson of Columbus, and Reta Cuppelia of LA; two brothers, Louis Patterson and Roy Patterson, both of MS; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
