Barbara Ann Linn, 85, of Columbus, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. She was born September 13, 1939 in Franklin, to Floyd and Mary (Sanders) Warfield. They preceded her in death.
Barbara loved collecting anything with butterflies. She also, loved Elvis, collecting small elephant statues, coloring, and completing word search puzzles. She also enjoyed reading and shopping.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard S. Linn; a son, Richard T. Linn; and a brother, Don Warfield.
Survivors include her loving children, Elizabeth Smith and fiancee, Kim Hand of Columbus, and Matt (Brenda) Linn, also of Columbus; a sister, Sandra Talkington of Columbus; a brother, David Warfield of Seymour; grandchildren, Kaylon, Christopher, Chandus, Hannah, Samantha, Eli, and Devin; and ten great-grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering from 2 - 5 p.m., Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl Street. Private interment will be at a later date.
Memorials in Barbara's name are suggested to Alzheimer's Association of Indiana or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
