Carol was so incredibly helpful to me when I began my journey at Cummins.  She was so knowledgeable and helpful.  I was so happy to have her support and to be able to learn from her.  I remember one time we discussed our hair as she dyed hers then.  I said that I understood that was important to some folks, but I thought I wouldn't worry about it.  She said, "That's because you don't need it yet.  I'll tell you when you should start!"  I still have a good laugh at that even now.  She was quite a woman.  My prayers for all of you.

I met Carol 10-11 years ago, while teaching Zumba. She was such an enthusiastic class member. She always amazed me because she had breathing issues and yet she was just so determined to let nothing stop her.  As I have since gotten to know Carol all these years, I still am amazed at how she lived her life in a very determined manner. Nothing was gonna stop her.  She and I also bonded over our love of Avenger movies and Acorn and Brit box TV.   She had a great sense of humor and  was a voracious reader. Her kindle was always loaded!! 
Carol also crocheted faster than anyone I have ever known?! She made blankets for my daughters and made the cutest crocheted snowmen ornaments.  Every Christmas, Carol  made countless ornaments of all kinds to hand out to her coworkers, friends, doctors, and caregivers.  She was a soft hearted spirit and I am so grateful to have had her in my life.  I will miss her.  Rest in peace dear Carol. 🙏 ❤️

When we hired Carol at Cummins it was after a long internal and external search. Three of us interviewed the final set of candidates and when we met to evaluate them there was instant agreement that Carol was perfect for the job: energetic, detail-oriented, resourceful, resilient and forthright. She assumed a big job managing and updating the complex system that documented and communicated the new product development process, with hundreds of detailed steps, thousands of attached documents, a worldwide user base and an active change process. Carol took to the job as if it was made for her. She reveled in the details of the task and was totally organized with high quality standards. Carol got things done. You never had to follow up with her. And Carol always wanted to learn more. She was fiercely loyal to her team and to the system she safeguarded. You could always count on her to have an opinion, but that never interfered with her carrying out her duties. In addition to the product development system, she supported the worldwide delivery of project management classes, managing signups, local course logistics, post class surveys and updates to the training material. Carol managed all her work and relationships with the verve and energy that characterized her personality. Carol had moxie and panache. The world is a brighter place thanks to God putting her in our lives.

Thanks for your response in memory of Carol. I worked with her at Cummins @ the Tech Center I remember the day she came in to interview. She was a great person and worker. I lost track of her as she switched jobs and we went our own paths. She was such a crafty person,  I still have a couple angels she made me at Christmas time.  Actually I just thought of her kindness and talent when I took them off my tree a week ago.  I'm so sorry for your loss - you and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. May God Bless you.
