David was born in Columbus, September 30, 1955, the son of John Earl and Iva Black Myrick. He was a former employee of Steak N' Shake where he was a grill cook. He enjoyed talking on the CB radio, Facebook and building models of all kinds and trains.
Survivors include daughters, Crystal Myrick of Logan, IL and Amber (Ryan) Chavis of Terre Haute, IN; brother, Robert W. (Neola) Myrick of Utah; sisters, Carol Myrick and Pat Myrick both of Columbus; grandchildren, David, Christopher, Colin and Thomas Myrick and Elaina Chavis.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hathaway~Myers Chapel on Pearl Street with the Bishop Bryan Busselberg officiating. Inurnment will follow at New Harmony Cemetery near Mineral Springs. Calling will be from noon to service time. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.hathaway-myers.com.
