Born in Bedford on 3-28-26, Emily was the daughter of Lee and Beulah Vaught May. She married Paul Victor Johnson on 2-12-48 in Indianapolis. He preceded her in death on 3-10-04.
Emily was a member of the Millrace Senior Center. She enjoyed camping, gardening, playing Bridge, painting and loved Nature.
Rev. Dennis Aud from Westside Community Church will conduct a private graveside service for Emily. There will be no calling or funeral service. Emily is survived by her daughters, Phyllis C. (Michael) Hess of Columbus and Nanci V. Johnson, Bothell, Wash.; sons, Nelson L. Johnson, Bristol, England and Kenneth A. (Michelle) Johnson, Holly Springs, Miss. Preceding her in death were her parents, he husband, brothers, Jack and Bob May and a sister, Phyllis May.
