

Born in Columbus, Gary was the son of Marion “Horsefly” Bush and Betty Vandagriff Bush. He married Tina Sweet on 4-18-87 in Columbus and she survives.
Gary was raised in Columbus, was a graduate of the first Senior Class of East High School in 1974, and was an avid car collector and restorer. He was a Harley Davidson Motorcycle nut. Gary had worked all his life at the family business; Bush’s Market, mastering all the aspects of the operation from the farming, produce production to processing and retail of the fresh Pork products in the Winter season.
Gary is survived by his mother, Betty Vandagriff Bush of Columbus; his wife Tina Sweet Bush of Sun City, AZ; daughter, Ami (David) Bush Tincher, Elizabethtown; sons, Brandon (Hayli) Bush, Columbus and Joshua Bush, Woodbridge, VA; grandchildren, Oliver, Gunner and Carter Bush, all of Columbus; his brother, Rick (Jane) Bush of Columbus; two aunts, Sue Ann Vandagriff and Bernadine Bush, both of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his father, Marion “Horsefly” Bush.
In keeping with Gary’s wishes, cremation is planned. A gathering of family and friends for a Celebration of Gary’s life will be held Friday 6-26 at Bush’s Market, 7301 25th St. at 6:00 p. m. to reminisce and tell favorite stories of Gary. A meal provided by Roger Mouser will follow. Private inurnment will be at a later time in Garland Brook Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Wesley Jones. Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th were in charge of the arrangements.
