Miss Crawford retired in 1976 after having taught in Niles, Mich., schools for 5 years and Gary Public Schools for 25 years. She was chairman of the Home Economics Department at William A. Wirts High School.
She attended William Woods University in Fulton, Mo., and the University of Illinois and graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s and a master’s degree. She attended First Lutheran Church in Columbus and was a member of Bartholomew Retired Teachers Association.
In keeping with Miss Crawford’s wishes there will be no funeral service. Inurnment will be with her parents in Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem, Indiana.

Born in Gary, Indiana, November 28, 1924, Miss Crawford was the daughter of Harry D. and Hazel E. Callahan Crawford.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
