Larry Dean Mankin

Born in Bartholomew County on June 7, 1946, Larry was the son of Ashford Eugene and Lorine Louise Hackman Mankin.

Larry is survived by his sons; Travis Mankin of Columbus and Matt (Lacey) Mankin of Anderson; four grandchildren and his sister, Sharon (Tony) Herkamp of Bartholomew County. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jeff Mankin.

In keeping with Larry’s wishes, cremation is planned. There will be a Celebration of Life Service for Larry Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 1:00 until 3:00 p. m. at the chapel of the Indiana Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 1415 North Gate Road, Madison, IN 47250. The American Legion Post from Madison will perform the traditional honors with a 21 gun salute at 2:30 p. m. with private inurnment to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials for Larry may be sent to Little Red Door Cancer Services of Delaware County, 2311 W. Jackson St., Muncie, IN 47303 or to the Medora Goes Pink, 76 S.
