Linda Darlene (Burton) Myers, 80, of Columbus, Indiana died at 6:48 pm Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. Mrs. Myers was born in Bartholomew County, Indiana on January 22 in 1943 the daughter of Gordon H. and Ruby Burton. She married Robert E. Myers in Bartholomew County. Indiana on January 22, 1960.
Mrs. Myers was retired from Kindred Healthcare, were she worked as an Activity Director. She was member of The Moose Lodge and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
A private graveside service celebrating the life of Mrs. Myers will be held Garland Brook Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Surviving children are two sons, Gary G. (Sabrina) Myers of Columbus, Indiana, and David O.
Myers of Worthington. Indiana; as well a as her daughter, Terry L. (Patrick) Bryant of Taylorsville, Indiana. Her four grandchildren include, Natasha Buchanan of Taylorsville, Indiana, Kaleigh (Zach) Morey of Columbus, Indiana, Mallory Myers of Salem, Indiana, and Jesse (Allie) Myers of Hawaii. Her two great-grandchildren are Dominik Pinkney of Taylorsville, Indiana and Karter Morey of Columbus, Indiana.
Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents, Gordon and Ruby; and
brothers, Wayne Burton, Gene Burton, Alva Burton, and Dale Burton.
