Mark was born in Reading, Ohio July 3, 1959 the son of Edward L. and Betty Joan Griffin Davis. He married Lynnetta “Nita” Phillips, she survives.
He was a Collision Repair Technician for Bob Poynter GM in Seymour for 18 years. He was a 1977 graduate of Columbus East High School, very active in Boy Scout Troop 125. He attended Westside Community Church, loved riding his Harley-Davidson motor bike, loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, euchre, playing pool and especially spending time with his kids, family and friends.
Mark is survived by his wife Lynnetta “Nita” Davis; sons Dylan Lee and Devan Matthew Davis of Columbus; father Edward Davis of Columbus; brother, Anthony “Tony” (Shelia) Davis of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his mother; sister, Debra D. Davis; brother, Larry G. Davis.
Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Myers~Reed Chapel on 25th Street with Pastors Gary Satterly and Dennis Aud officiating. Visitation will be 5 ~ 8 p.m. Friday and noon to service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
