Maxine Stephens Maudlin

Mrs. Maudlin was born in Glasgow, KY. on February 17, 1930, the daughter of the late James C. and Mollie Reed Stephens.

She married Edgar R. Maudlin in Greensburg, IN. on January 28, 1949 and he survives.

Mrs. Maudlin was a homemaker.

A private funeral service celebrating the life of Mrs. Maudlin will be conducted Monday, September 27, 2010 at the Hathaway-Myers Chapel at 1022 Pearl St., Columbus, IN. 47201 with Virgil Clotfelter officiating.

Burial will be in the Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus, IN.

Surviving with her husband of 61 years are two sons, Jeffrey Alan (Roseann) Maudlin of Columbus, IN. and Anthony Todd Maudlin of Anaheim Hills, CA.; a brother, Ernie Weldon (Marcie) Stephens of Dupont, IN.,; three granddaughters, Laura (Neil) Freeman of Bloomington, IN., Megan T. Maudlin of Columbus, IN. and Tanya Y. Maudlin of Los Angeles, CA. and a great granddaughter, Marley T. Ochs of Columbus, IN.

Along with her parents, Mrs. Maudlin was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jack A. and Edmond L. Stephens and a sister, Geneva R. Sherman.
