

Mr. Huston worked many years at The Republic, retiring as a production manager, and worked at Elder-Beerman after retirement.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and attended Community Church of Columbus.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl Street with Pastor Chuck Coleman officiating. Calling will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Monday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery with military rites conducted by Bartholomew County Veterans Color Guard.

Born in Columbus Aug. 1, 1928, Mr. Huston was the son of Joseph and Mary Hunter Huston. He is survived by daughters, Suzanne (Donald J.) Reed, Kathleen (Randall) Perry and Lizabeth (Robert) Kunzman, all of Columbus; sons, Russell Huston and Timothy (Vickie) Huston, both of Columbus; his former wife, Lorna Hawk Huston of Columbus; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.
